Today is your Birthday! I cant call you or talk to you today!  I will try to get
through this day and many others like this, I don't want to be sad and I know that
you wouldn't want that for me.  The Boys and I along  with Aunt Roxanne and your Texas family and friends are going to release balloons today at 5pm in honor of your birthday along with our Jersey Family! I feel that's my closest way to get to you!  I miss  you terribly Daddy!! I love you with everything I have, and you have inspired me in so many ways!!!! I tell a story of you everyday! You did so much for all of us growing up.  One of my memories is the opening of the Pig and Pony tail fields.  The girls never had their own fields but you made sure we had a place.   You motivated all of us to be a part of building those fields.  I remember you had us all there to paint the dug outs and clear the rocks off the field to have a safe and clean place that felt like ours. It taught us to work hard to have nice things,  I hit my first home run there which as a teen was sooo exciting and you called me personally to tell me how proud you were. You will always be in my heart!!! I love you:}

Daddy! I will never forget the time when you held one of your meetings for the
voting of the girls All-Star team! in our living room.  I was in the basement and I was new to the league but I had a great season.  The last vote came to my team and it was between my coaches daughter or myself to make the team.I was not the one picked!  I heard it in your voice and to this day I remember how upset, but yet instantly you said fair enough!  I have an idea, I will take my daughter and those that didn't make the All-Star team that I think should have.  We will challenge you to an All-Star game under the lights at Union Lake!  you just tell us when to be there. Well they did, and daddy made this game one of biggest ordeals you could ever imagine, shirts, cakes made up and I pitched that night under the lights.  It was a night I will never forget!  We Won!!! and my dad came running to that pitching mound and picked me up and swung me around and hugged and kissed everyone of us!!! Daddy inspired me to who I am today!!! never be that underdog, you do not have to accept no for an answer!!! your my Hero Daddy in every way....I miss you very much..
