     Rod Esser, 75, keft us on Saturday, March 26th, 2016.  He was born October 28th, 1940.  Rod's life will be celebrated by his wife, Dicki, his children Patrick, Tammy, Kathryn, Kenny, Paul, and step-children Liz and Rick, as well as many grandchildren.
     Rod was a native of the Central Valley.  He competed as a U.S. Navy Seal in the Southeast Asia War Games.  Graduated from UC Berkeley and went on to a distinguished career with the CHP, DEA and as an investigator with Tulare County until he retired in 2003.
     An avid baseball enthusiast, Rod loved his treasured San Francisco Giants.

Esser, You showed me how a father could be. You put in the effort and now that I find myself being a step father myself, I am so glad that I have our history as a guide for the effort I need to put into my relationships with my children.
