The day you introduced your Grandaughter to football

it was 2000 in Forfar while watching Robyn while I was at a meeting that you both came across an amateur footie game, then after meeting up told me to take Robyn to McDiarmid,  and ever since she has been a St Johnstone fan never looked back been to many away game as well including a dream trip into Europe with them on their charter flight to Lithuania,  she has come so far with supporting our local team thanks to you , dad. We have a Disabled Trophy for POY now in your memory due to your introduction 19 yrs ago.

Married mum etc

Dad and Mum were married in Caputh church on 28 August 1965 they lived in Murthly for year or so I was born in October 1966 then we moved up to Burnbane half mile out of Murthly where my sister was born in 1968 my dad worked as a Forester during the day and at night cleaned the former MCLENNAN buses as well as odd conducting on Friday and Saturday night we then moved to Abruchull Esteate we were there for a year I started school at Comrie there, then dad and mum decided to move back to Murthly Estate to Kingswood where we stayed until 1979 best days of our lives there, dad worked in the sawmill, on occasions in the summertime he along with his workmates had to help with forest fires I remember 1976 was particularly bad dad was out on Birnam hill all night fighting alongsde the fire brigade a fire my sister and I attended Royal School of Dunkeld my dad was a great first footer in those days he loved his Scottish music and sang at New year them very well his favourite song that he loved was When you and I were young Maggie in October of 1979 we moved down the road to a spanking new house built by the Estate my sister and I went to Perth Grammar didnt have far to walk to bus, we both stayed there until our marriages first mine in oct 1986 at Caputh Church and then my sister in 1997 again at our family church of Caputh his first granddaughter was born in 1987 he was such a proud grandad when she came along then in 1991 granddaughter no2 came along followed by my sister's two his first and only grandson in 2000 and another wild granddaughter in 2003 completing his wee family.  Dad was blessed to have met and spend time with his two older sisters that emigrated in the 50s one to Canada and the other in Australia in 1990 for his Siver wedding he took mum on a second honeymoon to meet his now late sister and his neices etc and in 2005 after much persuasion by us dad and mum endured the long trip to Queensland to see his other sister and his nephews and neice.
