BAUER Rodney A. "Buddy" Bauer, 64, South Solon, OH, died Friday January 11, 2013 at home. Born March 28, 1948, in Columbus to Orville C. and Esther C. Groves Bauer. Graduate of Brookhaven High School.

Retired truck driver. Preceded by parents and brother-in-law J. Richard "Dick" Snodgrass.

Survived by wife, Charlene Edmonds Bauer; children, Charlie (Jennifer) Bauer of Baltimore, OH and Cathy Bauer and fiance, Doug Ellison of Columbus; step-children, Erica (Paul) Kazee of Mt. Sterling; Laura Linton of Hilliard, Tom (Connie) Grosh of Worthington, John Grosh of Columbus and Rick (Linda) Grosh of Delaware, Ohio; grandchildren, Brandon, Jessica and Nicholas Bauer, Tiana Ellison, Nathan and Nicholas Kazee, Chelsea Cramlet, Nathan, Scott, Griffin, Spencer and Gabriella Grosh; sister, Bonnie Snodgrass of Washington CH; brother-in-law, John (Tammy) Edmonds of Washington CH; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at KIRKPATRICK FUNERAL HOME in Washington CH. Burial in Washington Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at funeral home.
