Roger G. Fisher passed away peacefully on October 30th, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton in Ohio after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on August 20th, 1954. He's a graduate of Kennedy High School in Taylor, Michigan.
Roger retired from Vapor Systems in Springboro, Ohio September 6th,2019 as a quality manager. He loved dining out, comedy shows, concerts, outdoor festivals, movies, theatre, dancing on the patio, playing boardgames, but his greatest joy was remodeling homes and took great pride and joy in his accomplishments, our own home is a tribute and testament to that.
He touched the lives of many, always willing to help all those in need. His generosity, high spirits, loving nature and politeness was felt by all who knew him. His smile was genuine and his laughter was infectious. Our dogs, Benji and Bailey were precious to him as they brought much laughter and joy to his life and they were a great source of love and affection.
He is survived by his wife, Darnelle, sister Sally, his bother Jerry and wife, Pam, his children, Erica Fisher, Edward Fisher, Philip Fisher, stepchildren, Dave Biro and wife Drenda, Mike Biro and partner, Ashley Snedeker, six grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, three nieces, a cousin and many friends. He was preceded by his parents, Edward Albert Fisher and Iva Bernice Fisher.
A private memorial service in Ohio will be held in his honor in the coming days, friends and family will be notified.
Final arrangements by W.E. Lusain Funeral Home, Dayton, Ohio.

Possibly the sweetest, most positive guy I have ever met. I was so thrilled to see his friendship with Darnelle unfold and turn into true love and a happy marriage. He packed a lot of goodness into a too short.  This breaks my heart.

We lost track by the end of the 70's but I'll always remember your generous and inviting spirit. You always lit up the room when you showed-up. We had some of the best parties up on your Auntie's house at 338 Sycamore Street and at the Ecorse house. Your stories were incredible! The one about Nipper was a belly buster! We tore it up Bro. A part of my heart goes with you. Much love.

Oh Roger, you were the man! You, once again, gave me somebody to look up to and strive to be just as good. You were always the light and never the darkness. Your laugh was infectious. You brought happiness to my mom and fulfillment to our family. There will never be anybody like you. You promised me another beer together, and I'm going to hold you to that. But until that day comes, keep the beer on ice and please watch over us all and continue to guide us like only you know how to do. Heros never die completely, they live on in our hearts forever. I love and miss you my friend.

My sweet Roger, I miss your smile, your laughter, dancing in the kitchen or on the patio with you, talking for hours with you, or just sitting with you playing board games. I miss all the fun times we enjoyed together going places or staying home. I miss us both sharing little things, everything! I miss working in the yard together. I miss trying new recipes for you, while you experimented with different dinner cocktails I miss you breaking into a silly song just to make me laugh. Not a day went by that we didn’t laugh. Sitting on the patio or the front porch just isn’t the same without you. I miss you thanking me for any little thing. I miss your kiss and you holding me in your loving arms and always making me feel safe, your hugs were the best! We were truly meant for each other and had such a perfect love. We were both blessed to find that in each other and I’ll always be grateful for the time we had, the memories, and I will forever love you. Best years of my life!
Your loving wife, Darnelle
