Roger was a retired Prudential Insurance Agent,

Rosary was at 3:00 PM, Sunday, August 30, 2015, at

St. Jude Catholic Church and funeral Mass was at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 31, 2015, also at St. Jude Catholic Church.

Roger was preceded in death by wife of 54 years, Suzanne; his oldestson, Christopher; his parents, Ivan & Margaret York, and his son-in-law, Joseph Downing.

He is survived by children, Rev. Patrick G. York, of Conception, MO, Steven G. York (Nancy), of Centennial, CO., Michael G. York (Delia), of Kansas City, KS, and Ann Garese Downing, of Wichita, KS.  Roger and Suzanne have 10 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
