Grandpa was an awesome man, he led Bianca and I as daughters of his own, which technically we are even better than regular children we're "grand". He led us and raised us stronger then mom could have done by herself. It was a awe-striking getting to learn his stories and knowing what he had been through. Thanks for fighting for me gramp...WE LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU!!

Your stories at Christmas time.

December 21, 2012

I remember your stories well grandpa, even though you arent here to share them anymore and that is one of the many things I have missed. You always had a good sense of humor, and always had a smile on your face.

I miss those long and lonesome winter nights when you and I would play Christmas music on the organ, as Bianca and grandma sang along. I miss the days when you and I would go "gally-vanting" which most of the time was just to school. Gosh I miss those days.

How about Christmas morning when we were so excited to open gifts and we didnt care if we waited till you were up, but I am glad we did. How bout the drives we used to go on and look at the Christmas lights. Or even the times we would drive down the old senic routes just to take more time to ourselves as we sang that song the both of us loved.

Grandpa, its Christmas once again, three Christmases without you now, and each one brings its own memories. Thank you for making such a big impact on Bianca and I growing up. It means more to us than anyone ever could have given us. We all love you and miss your stories, sense of humor, and love down here on earth, and we must admit also we are kind of jealous that you lived life to the fullest. Give a hug to grandma and everyone for me on Tuesday. Love you all and miss you. Thanks for helping me become the person I am today-

Yours truly,
Kaitlin "Katie-Did"
