Roland and a buddy would often stop at the creek and catch a few fish when they walked home from school. They would always catch extra fish and walk to a nearby widow's home to give her some of the fish. If she was short on food that day, Roland and his buddy would give her all the fish they had caught, then go back to the creek to catch more.
"That's just what we did", Roland would say.

Roland was a blast to go huntin with. I was a logger ...he was a logger ...so it was great cause we could talk the talk . Best huntin buddy I've ever had.
