Ronald Gleason Carpenter, 72, a resident of Franklinton, died Friday, April 22, 2011.
A native of Franklin County, the son of the late Doc and Odell Lloyd Carpenter. He was a self employed mechanic and was of Baptist faith.
Memorial services will be conducted Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Creedmoor by Rev. Craig Currin
Surviving are a daughter, Kimberly Carpenter Hamric of New Orleans. Louisanna, two sons, Michael W. Carpenter of Hartsell, Alabama, Jeff Carpenter of San Antonio, Texas, three sisters, Marie Davis and Linda Wheeler both of Durham, Doris Smith of Pinehurst, a brother, Clairborne Carpenter of Durham and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor prior to the memorial services.
