I can still see Gramma trying to get you to sleep.  She'd rock you and say, "You better close those peepers.  We've got a big day tomorrow.  We've got to plan our birthday party."  Then, she'd proceed to tell you about all of the balloons, cake, and presents you two would have.  You'd just look up at her and grin.  The night before you were lifelined, you were very fussy.  I thought you wanted a bottle, so I made and bottle, picked you up, and tried to feed you.  You just looked up at me and grinned.  All you wanted was to be held.  I love you, Bubby!
