Ronald Lee Stilabower, 59, of Xenia, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, June 6, 2023 after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Ronald was born on 9/18/1963 in Mattoon, Illinois, the son of Ronald G. Stilabower and Sue Volkenand. Ron was a very hard worker, who could fix just about anything.
He was an incredibly kind soul who will be missed dearly. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Ron G. Stilabower, Sue Volkenand, and Chuck Volkenand. He is survived by his loving wife, Amanda Stilabower; his children, Josh Stilabower, Courtney Ppool (Brent), Cheyenne Stilabower, Kaleb Stilabower (Jaden), Tommy Koons, and Jesse Koons; his five grandchildren, Aaliyah, Chloe, Liam, Bella, and Aiden; a sister, Dianna Cody (John); and a brother, Keven Stilabower.
Ron would give someone the shirt off his back if they were in need. He was always ready to help, and hard work didn’t phase him at all. He will be remembered for his love of music as well. Ron loved and treasured his family immensely above everything else. He also cared for and valued his online community. He will be missed dearly by all that knew him.
A brief service followed by a celebration of life will be held at Gilbert’s Party Barn on Sunday, July 9th from 2-6 p.m.
