Ronnie Pinkins was born on May 28, 1962 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Frank Hibbler, Sr. and the late Loretta Pinkins Edwards. He is preceded in death by one sibling, Derrick Pinkins. 

He was educated in the Birmingham City School System and graduated from Parker High School in 1980. He briefly attended Morehouse College and served in the U.S. Air Force. 

On Wednesday, January 12, 2022 he answered the call of his Lord and Master, serenely exchanging mortality for the peace and tranquility of the after life. Remembering him with love are sisters, Edna Earl Edwards, Huntsville, AL, Gwendolyn J. Hibbler, Rosemary Hibbler, Birmingham; brothers, Frank Hibbler (Elaine), Byron C. Hibbler, Lawrence Edwards, Jr. all of Birmingham, Alabama, aunts, Barbara Coleman, Mellanie Pinkins, Rose Hibbler, Gwendolyn Hibbler, all of Birmingham, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
