My father, Ron Pollard, was born on July 14, 1959. He was an amazing man.

He is survived by  his brother Johnny, his niece Samantha, his nephew Josh, 2 great nephews Wyatt and Cody and his daughter, Brandy, his 4 grandchildren: Austyn, Ronney, Dakota and Christian.

Ron was raised in the small town of Cibolo, Texas. His parents were Fred and Louise Wiedner who have already passed away.

Dad was a hard worker. He worked for the same company for 27 years.

Dad loved life. His past time was fishing. He also had a thing for boats. I do not know how many he went through when  I was growing up. We spent many weekends fishing.

Dad loved people. He always had a hug for someone.

Dad was also the best cook ever. He loved to BBQ.

I will miss my Dad. He will forever be in my heart.

Only a few days  have passed

Sam called me to tell me
That you’d gone away

Like an open wound

I don’t utter a sound

Some days the pain is stronger
It makes me sick and weak
I can’t stand this much longer
I just sit here and weep

You were like a rock
Strong, faithful and true

I was your daughter
Daddy’s little girl
I took my own path
But was still part of your world

I was not the best
Guilty of neglect

and take care of all who went before you.
