The daughter of the late William Lowe and Elizabeth Meadows Lowe Brown, Mrs. Jerry was born in Talbot County, GA on May 27, 1949. She was a proud graduate at the age of 33 of Jordan Night School, and was a devout member of New Bethel AME Church where she served as a Stewardess, Sunday School Teacher, with the Choir, Lay Organization and was former chairman of the Calendar Tea. She was retired following 43 years of service as a supervisor with L & S Contractors. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Gregory C. Gardner.

Survivors include: a son, Jeffery Lowe (Contrina); two daughters, Helen L. McNair and Sheree Holloway Carter (John); eleven grandchildren and thirty one great grandchildren; two sisters, Delores Shavers and Laverne Lowe; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
