Rosa Salazar was born in Torreon, Cahuila;MEX on June 9,1939 to Manuela and Max Ortiz. In 1955, from Juares, Chihuahua, Rosa had crossed the border to El Paso, Texas where she lived for two years before entering Los Angeles at the age of 15. 

Little did she know, she would meet her lifelong spouse in the year of 1958. The following year Rosa  married Ernesto Salazar on September 15,1959 and cherished a love that preserved for 55 wonderful years. 
Rosa and Ernesto had purchased their first home in East La in 1961.About ten years later, they had purchased their second home where they raised their four wonderful children; Ernesto,Irma,Patty and Vicky.  

Throughout their many wonderful years spent together, Rosa and Ernesto created many great times and memories that will be carried on for generations to come. Rosa was a beautiful, loving and caring woman whom always sought out the best for us. Always believing in us and never giving up; She will always and forever be in our hearts.
