Rose Englehart ...my best friend. We met in 2009 at her job. I was a temp & my desk was not far from hers. My first impression of her was a tough girl who didn’t take any crap from anyone. Yet there was something about her that screamed I need a friend. One day I walked over & introduced myself. First question I asked was what kind of music do you like? She told me 80’s rock bands & showed me all her CD’s. She smiled big & told me KISS was her #1 band. Music was one of many things we had in common. That day we became friends. 

We went to countless shows over the years & she always had my back. Looking out for my safety. Guess you could say she was my private bodyguard. We shared so many memories together. Rose became my protector, a sister, my confidant, she was & still remains my best friend I can count on no matter what. Never sugar coated anything & was always right on with advice. She always made herself available & it didn’t matter what time of day or night. A true find in a real friend.

We talked a lot about so many things. She loved her family so much. You all meant the world to her. Although we all miss Rose everyday & still can’t believe she’s gone, she hasn’t left any of us completely. For me, she promised to always have my back & even though she is not here physically, she has kept her promise in heaven. I feel her presence on my most difficult days & she always pulls me through. I know she will get her family & friends through as well.
