Funeral Services Monday, August 9, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. St Luke Baptist Church, 2262 North Gettysburg Ave 45406. Family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Masonic Services begin at 11:30 a.m., and the Funeral with Pastor Renard Allen officiating will be held immediately after the Masonic Services. Rose Ladd , 88 years of age was born January 20, 1930 to the parentage of Verizona and Janie Walker. She was preceded in death by her Husband Spencer Ladd and her children Jeffrey, Brenda and Anthony Ross and Joseph Ross Sr her children’s father.
On April 3, 2018 God wrapped his arms around our mother saw her tired face knowing it was a hard hill for her to climb. He closed her weary eyelids and said "Peace be Thine".
Momma retired from Inland/Delphi with many years of service. She was a member of St. Luke Baptist Church. She was also a member of Unity Chapter No.95 and Amer Court No.65.
Mom leaves to cherish her memories her seven daughters including her loving daughters who cherished and cared for and loved their mother, Janice Day of Trotwood Ohio and Barbara Albritton of Lithonia Ga., Deborah White of New Jersey, Kenneth Smith her nephew who never left her side and he loved and cared for his aunt dearly and she loved him also. His brothers Emmett and Michael Smith and her great niece Patria Smith who never forgot their aunt and they always got a big smile from mom each and every time they came to see their aunt. Also, her cousin Patricia Samuels of Detroit Michican her son-in-laws, Anthony (Tony) Day, Terrance (Punchy) Tyler who mom loved and let everyone know she had the best son-in-laws in the world and her loving and caring daughter-in-law Regina Ross and her Sister Lennie Reese. Daughters Jeannette, Donna, Carolyn, Cathy, Son Joseph and a host of grandchildren and great grand children; Other relatives and friends. We her daughters would like to thank everyone for the prayers and offers of condolences during our time of loss. All of you are much appreciated
