Her Life

A native of St. Louis, MO and the daughter of Ms. Annie Lee Grayer and the late Robert Joiner, Mrs. Parker moved to Columbus in 1986. She received a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Masters Degree in Education from Liberty University. Currently, she was employed as the Assistant Director of Job Training for the Columbus Consolidated Government. She was a member of Willing Workers Christian Redeeming Spiritual Church in St. Louis. She also was a member of several professional, civic and social organizations. Other than her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Grayer.

Surviving other than her mother are her husband, Steve Parker; one daughter, Tanekia Parker(Martin); two adoring grandchildren, Aisha and Jacory Thomas; seven brothers, Billy Grayer(Carolyn), David Grayer(Tomeka), Christopher Grayer(Inge), Kenneth Grayer(Raquel), Timothy Grayer, Jessie Stallworth(Juanita) and Anthony Stallworth(Gerri); three sisters, Anita Forrest(Virgil), Annette Savariau(Errol) and Ernestine Jefferson(Keith); two godchildren, Errial Savariau amd Dominique Rose; two brothers-in-law, Johnny Parker(Melody) and Willie Parker; two "sisters by choice", Brenda Meiche and Debra Rose; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
