Rose was born in Bend Oregon.  She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in Klamath Falls, went to Marylhurst College and graduated, obtained her MBA from University of Portland.

Following a career managing genetics laboratories, Rose became an FAA certified flight instructor, completed an MBA and started her own management consulting firm in 1991, MRI Consulting Group. MRI was a business development company with expertise in both business and management consulting.  Throughout her career she became an ICF Master Certified Coach, invite CHANGE Certified Mentor Coach, Living Your Vision Licensed Facilitator and Certified Executive Coach. Rose had an eclectic collection of credentials covering her office walls:

In 2008 MRI Consulting Group became Flight Unlimited.  An avid pilot and FAA Certified Flight Instructor, Rose saw the metaphors and parallels between piloting a plane and running a business - or developing and changing personally. Rose created Personal Flight Plan.  Coaching and Consulting from a unique perspective. "Break through the Barriers & Soar". Her services included Coaching, Personal Flight Plan, Team Coaching, Living your Vision and Equine Inspired Coaching.

Her practice incorporated traditional approaches along with her passions - airplanes, dolphins, and horses.

Miss Darby her 4 legged beautiful Lhasa Apso was her companion for 17 years. She too passed within hours of Rose.  They are still together.
