Rosemary Cook Garcia, age 79, passed away peacefully in presence of her loved ones by her side on the afternoon of Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Northeast Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. Rosemary was born in San Antonio on March 13, 1942, to the late Ivy Dewey and Mary Emma Cook. She was one of 4 children who grew up learning the value of a hard day's work and skills to raising a family.
Rosemary married the love of her life and her best friend Jose Hernandez Garcia on June 18, 1974. These two shared 45 years of love and raised 6 children together, As a family, they shared a million smiles and a lifetime of memories.
Those who know Rosemary best will remember a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her lovable personality earned her many friends along life's path. She enjoyed spending time socializing, dancing, and singing. She was loved by her family and will be truly missed.
Rosemary is survived by her Husband Jose Garcia. By her children Joey Vendetti. Tina Gutierrez and her husband Martin Gutierrez Jr. Anna Perrin and her husband Michael Perrin.Dominick Vendetti and his wife Jennifer Vendetti. Felicia Martinez and her husband Gabriel Martinez.
18 grandchildren Martin Gutierrez III and his wife Michelle Gutierrez, Ashley Gutierrez, Marcus Gutierrez and his wife Aurora Gutierrez,Krystal Ypma, Amanda Perrin, Paige Vendetti, Tyler Vendetti, Trinity Vendetti, Ryan Vendetti, Brayden Vendetti, Brooklynn Vendetti, Michael Garcia, Vincent Martinez, Xaiver Martinez and Thaseus Martinez.
7 great-grandchildren Aniya Gutierrez, Aiden Gutierrez, Azreal Gutierrez, Nadia Gutierrez, KJ Gutierrez, Marcus A. Gutierrez, Emilia Gutierrez.
Siblings Ivy Dewey Cook Jr, James Cook, and Lorraine Owens.
Rosemary was also proceeded in death by one son Tony Vendetti.
A Memorial Service will be held at Converse First Baptist Church, 9162 Fm 78 Converse, TX 78109 on June 26,2021 @11:00am
