Rosetta Penn Servant was born on April 18, 1947 to the late Katie Mae Floyd and Monroe Penn in Troup County, GA. She departed this life on May 10, 2014 at West Georgia Health Systems, LaGrange, GA.

Rosetta accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of the True Love Baptist Church, where she joined under the leadership of Rev. L.W. Booker.

She was a 1966 graduate of Harrison High School. She received her training as a home healthcare provider from Lanier Memorial Hospital. She was a devoted caregiver to many.

Rosetta was a friend to all she met and was loved by many. She loved her Early Morning Gospel with Johnny C. Hill and her hot cup of coffee.

She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Annie Ree Penn (Sonny), West Point, GA; two sisters, Mary Fannie Fleeten, West Point, GA and Juanita Hicks, Lanett, AL; three grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, including one that she reared as her own, Shakeral K. Penn; one great-great-granddaughter, special nieces, Lavonne Wright, Regina Smith, Janice Todd, and nephews, close and very special friends and relatives, Linda Palmer, Floyd Wallace, Jr., Linda McQueen Gunsby, Bettye Graham Alexander, and Barbara Broughton; godsons, Tony Williams, Chris Willliams and Leroy Williams, Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends.
