Rosezelle Rosser was born February 2, 1921 to the late John Walter and Missouri Colton.  She was born in Meriwether County.  She was the second oldest of 14 children.  She joined Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church at an early age and served faithfully until her health failed.  She was the oldest mother at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church.  

  Rosezelle was preceded in death by a husband, Rev. James Edward Rosser; two brothers, Bennie Lee Colton and Walter Colton; one grandchild, Marsha Jean Cunningham and one great grandchild, Marquez Ronnell Montgomery.  

  She was married to the late Rev. James Edward Rosser in 1941.  She leaves behind of that union five children.  Her three sons are Pastor John E. Rosser (Mattie) of Villa Rica, GA, Horace L. Rosser of Luthersville, GA, and Apostle Samuel L. Rosser, Sr. (Tommie Lee) of Newnan, GA; two daughers, Ruby Jean Cunningham (Emmitt) of Hamilton, OH and Apostle Patricia Hill of Atlanta, GA; a brother, Bishop McArthur Colton (Seronia) of Newnan, GA; four sisters, Emma Mae Tenney of Newnan, GA, Dorothy Parks, Ollie Parks and Fannie Mae Colton of Luthersville, GA; twenty-three grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; eleven great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. A longtime best friend is Mother Carrie Lee Gates of Luthersville, GA.
