This Intimate Relationship of My Sisters "Rosie" and "Maya"

November 6, 2013

My very special sisters “Rosie, Maya “ here in this photo my sister “Rosie’s right shoulder is touching my sister Maya’s left shoulder, because of that time and moment they  will always have this intimate relationship forever, because of  that photo you can see how they both are smiling, plus in both of my sister’s eye you can tell they share something more than just being sisters, but for my sister “Maya” she will always and forever cherish that feeling for my sister “Rosie”. Being Frankie, I’m so very happy to say, that we are very proud of all my sisters.

"Rosie" This Is Our Magnificent Parents

November 5, 2013

“Rosie”, as your brothers and sisters, we really do miss your beautiful smile, special “our sister Maya” she truly misses her oldest sister, because she said “I still can’t believe it? Maya will always love and miss you, I know our Dad is also trying his best to stay strong and be healthy, but I look at this photo of our parents, they both looked so very much in love with each other, particular Dad’s right hand on Mom’s shoulder, Dad with his smile, he also looked really attractive, plus with his military hair cut (high and tight) and then I ask myself, did they ever know they were going to have us all. Because I remember when I was there age, I never thought in my wildest dreams that I was going to five boys and four girls.

My determined Auntie

November 4, 2013

When Gavin was first born my mom called Rosie who was living in San Diego at the time to tell her the news. Rosie was so excited for us and couldn't wait to see the new addition to the family!  Wait she couldn't and just days after Gavin was born, we get a knock at our door.  I look out the window and see a cab on the street and there's Rosie, pink doorag and all asking "where's baby Gavin?"  I give her a big hug and ask her how she got here because she had never been to our house before.  Rosie had hopped on a bus and traveled two days to come see the new baby.  I will always remember her determination and smile, Rosie always put family first and would do anything for her loved ones, even ones she had never met.  No matter what the situation Rosie always had a smile on her face that would instantly make you feel better.  I am so grateful to have had inspirational family members in my life like Rosie who taught me the power of a smile and the importance of always putting family first.  Auntie just know that you are dearly missed and will never be forgotten, we love you Auntie.

My sister “Rosie” was so very happy in this photo, with family members, special with her brother Johnny and her sister Maya.

My Beautiful Sister "Rosie"

October 21, 2013

“My Dear Sister Rosie” in your high school photo, I can see the look on your face, that you were ready to be a mature lady, ready to start a family of your own and have that little house up on the hill with the white picket fence, with your big smile, always brings joy to our family, that is the most significant thing I’m going to miss about my sister “Rosie”, you looked so very energetic, you looked so full of life, you are so very  beautiful in your high school photo, you are so very happy and the day your Innocent was taking away, moment you got married.

Sweetwater High School; Tenth Reunion

October 18, 2013

I will never forget that night when this picture was taken, my sister “Rosie” had high hope to see or meet the ****, but Jr and I wanted to make sure our sister “Rosie” had fun and also enjoyed that whole night out, they both wanted to go to my tenth high school reunion, because that was a very significant occasion, oh by the way! Betty is the one who is taking the picture of us three, Betty and I had just started dating too, and I remember Betty was wearing that violet  or purple dress, plus Betty was a couple of months  pregnant that day.

My Mom and My Sister "Rosie"

October 17, 2013

Every parent wanted to have a baby boy or girl  the first birth or even the second time, when you were the third delivery, Dad and Mom was so extremely very proud, special Mom had her baby girl now and named her baby girl “Rosalinda” (Rosie), because I knew when she had Johnny and I (Frankie), Mom was contemplating maybe she would under no circumstances have a baby girl, but I comprehended now, the day you were born, Mom was very ecstatic, and that she finally had her baby girl or her little princess and her two boys. Mom would always put “Rosie” inside her big baby buggy to push my sister “Rosie” around (this is almost the same stroller my sister “Rosie” had). This picture was taken back in the late 50; my Mom was maybe the same age as the lady pushing the baby buggy.

Rosie's VW Super Beetle convertible

October 16, 2013

I will always remember when Rosie & I would go cruising in her favorite car Volkswagen VW Lime Green Super Beetle convertible.  She was always so confident and carefree then, I always dreamed of being like her when I grew up!

"Rosie" Tell Me Why

October 15, 2013

To this day, I have always asked myself, why didn’t my sister Rosie ever change her last name or go back to her maiden name? Can anyone answer my question? Because I know for a fact there is some logic? But I just can’t come up with a sensible motive.

Rosie loved Angels

October 7, 2013

Rosie loved Angels, whether they were pictures or statues, anything Angels, especially the "Precious moments" the ones with the big beautiful eyes!  So if you see pictures or statues of Angels always think of My Sister Rosie and smile : )

My sister Rosie's favorite poem

October 7, 2013

"Our Lady of Guadalupe"
I'm praying with lonely tears
To our Lady of Guadalupe
I'm a poor person
With a long face,
And I know,
She will see me through.

"Lady of Guadalupe"
I will live my life to the fullest
Every day
And if you have to choose
Me for your ministry
I will be honored
To serve in your ministry
(Poet Aldo Kraas)
