This website was created for Rosita Alvarez Lazo, 77 years of age, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Cherrydale Health and Rehabilitation Center.  

Rosita was born September 27, 1938 in Ballesteros, Cagayan, Philllippines to the Late Catalino and Nieves Lazo and was the middle of seven children.  She migrated to the United States in June 1976 with the assistance of The Hadloc Family.  Without her hard work, our family would not have the opportunities we have today.    

Rosita always enjoyed parties and being around her family and friends.  She had a beautiful harmonizing voice and loved singing, most especially at church.  She was always positive, calm, and the peace-maker.  She greeted everyone with a friendly smile and can always recall the prior conversation you had with her.  

Rosita leaves to cherish her loving memory to her children, Delfin (Febes) and Tony; great friend, Gene; three grandchildren, Julie Anne (Billy), Steven (Jackie), and JR; two great-grandchildren, Alexander and Gabriella; brother Greg; sisters Hillary, Soledad, and Ester; and many nieces and nephews.  

The Funeral Mass for Rosita A. Lazo will be held on Thursday, June 30 at St. John the Beloved Catholic Church in McLean, Virginia, at 11 am, EST.   Reception to follow at Hokkaido Seafood Buffet in Falls Church, VA.
