Celebration of Life will be Friday, November 12, 2021 at W.E. Lusain Funeral Home and Crematory (2060 Germantown Street). Visitation at 12:00 and service to follow at 1:00pm. Masks are required.

Rosslyn S. Brooks born September 9, 1970 to David and Rena Bannister. She graduated from Belmont High School, attended Miami Jacobs College and Carousel Beauty College. She worked at Bagel Lovers, Dayton Post Office, Marriott Hotel for many years and a STNA for her grandmother. She also worked at Crossroads Care and Cypress Point Care Centers.  

She was known as “RaRa”, “Rozo”, “Auntie Roz”, “Rozzie”. Rosslyn was a fun, very energetic and silly person, always popping up in everyone pictures (The photo bomber).

Proceeded in death by her husband Nathaniel Brooks Sr., her father David Bannister.

Survived by her mother Rena Bannister. Daughters Tanika S. Parker and Tanira S. Scott, her grandson Kai Montgomery. Sisters and brothers; David L. Bannister- Dayton, Kathy Storr-El Salvador Bahamas, Stephanie Bannister-Nassau Bahamas, Anthony Bannister (Violet) – Freeport Bahamas, Judy Rolle (David)-Nassau Bahamas, Sharon Proctor-Atlanta Georgia, Michael L. Bannister, Ian D. Bannister, David D. Bannister- Dayton. Special friends Sandra Parker, Damona Murdok, Sharon Lawson, Gary Green, The Marriott Work Family, and a host of family and friends here in Ohio. She will also be forever missed by her families from other states.
