Rowena Vaughan Frazier, 90, a lifetime resident of Granville County, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at her home.
Rowena was born in Granville County to the late Alonzo Vaughan and Hester Mangum. She was married to James Robert Frazier, who preceded her in death. She was a member of Grassy Creek Baptist Church , retired from nursing and worked at F & S Building Supply after her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, doll making, quilting and gardening.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 2, 2018 at Stovall United Methodist Church by the Rev. Cameron Currin. Burial will be held in the Stovall Town Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2:00 PM, Friday November 2, 2018, prior to the service, at Stovall United Methodist Church and other times at the home.
Surviving are two sons, Harold Glen Frazier (Carolyn) of Oxford, William “Bill” Robert Frazier of Oxford, four grandchildren, Crystal Frazier of Fuquay Varina, James Robert Frazier of Oxford, William Radford Frazier of Fuquay Varina and John Robert Frazier of Suffolk, Va, a sister, Peggy Currin of Bullock and a brother Alvah Lee Vaughan of Buffalo Junction, Va.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Vaughan and Floyd Vaughan.
