On April 15, 1994 I met this Dear sweet lady and there isn't a time that goes by that it was regrettable. I remember her alowing my children to climb the fence to visit her and her and her grandkids. I will always remember her getting a little tough with me when I did or said things that she had already ok'd. I will never forget how she took my children in as her grandkids and allowed them to call her "Grandma". They will never forget her and always remember her as such. She never minded them going to visit. When my granddaughter was born she would tell everyone that she was her granddaughter. She also had to ok the daycare that I put her in. She was like a mother to me. If i should have done or said something in a certain way, she would always let me know. I am so blessed that my family had the opportunity to know Roxanna and will never forget all she had done for us. She made us part of her family and for that we are grateful. We love you and will never forget you!

My Sweet Momma,

It seems like it's been forever since I heard your beautiful voice, saw that amazing Smile and was able to take you in my arms and tell you how much I love you. Days like today are so hard because I miss not only my Mom but also my best friend that I shared everything with and always knew no matter what that you would be there and would love me for me. I am so grateful for the time I had you and all of the memories I will cherish forever as well as all of those little blessings and lessons that I never knew meant so very much until you were gone. You gave me the most precious gift you could have, and that was my Faith that has truly become my foundation for life. You taught me to believe in myself and others, to stay strong when things seem impossible , and to follow my dreams and never give up because with God in my life and hard work you taught me I could accomplish anything I wanted!  For the first time since the year that you were called to join the Angels you loved so much, I have my own group of students again. I remember you telling me that my kids would bless me and teach me in ways I never thought possible! My group now is absolutely wonderful and they make me Smile and realize again why I love my job so much. They are truly excited about learning and are so willing and eager to please with my encouragement and an attitude that we can do anything as a classroom family. They understand that can't isn't in our vocabulary! Instead of being impossible, we are finding out that anything is within our grasp if we believe I'm possible and that we CAN do anything if we try!!! Those were some of the most precious lessons I was taught and am passing down to another group of fifth graders...You touched the hearts and lives of so many. One of my greatest wishes is to do the same and to allow others to see you in me and my actions. I remember you teaching me that "Cowgirls Don't Cry," and instead if life throws us off our horses, we need to stand up, brush ourselves off, smile, and get right back on facing that horse (bend in the road), doing the best we can while having Faith that our Awesome God is comforting and guiding us through the life HE has planned for us! Thank you for just being you and loving me unconditionally through all that life has offered! I love you to the Moon and Back and pray that as you are looking down on me that I make you proud! I miss you soooo much and will Love you forever and ever, Amen❤️❤️❤️
