Charles E. Taylor and Janie L. (Cobb) 

Janie dad was- Henry Cobb  who died when she was very young.

  Janie's- step- dad was John  Spoon  mom was Amanda (Casey)

(Charlie) was  from the town

Wilton, Boone County, Missouri   

Parents was Elijah and Mary (Polley)  --(Thomason)--Taylor

Charlie died in late May 1910

 June 03, 1910  news paper Obit Columbia  Mo. Hearld  Boone County, Mo

He  died when Addie  was 6 years old on

last week of May 1910 in Bergman,Boone County  Arkansas

  Janie (Parks last married name) was  from Ozark County, Mo

. she died in   Cotter, Arkansas 1957

Addie L. Lafferty  lived in the same town  Cotter, Ark with her

grand mom and mother she was there when they both died.

along with her mother in law  who died  in 1927 Mary.C. Lafferty

her husband was  Ambrose L. Lafferty-- father

of  --- Roy L. Lafferty

Just found out he Ambrose,  did work as a  Stone Mason was

in  1940 census records.

Lorenzo Dow and Mary (Criswell )  Lafferty  the parents of Burl C.

Your father, Roy L. Lafferty, was Carpenters Mate 3rd Class (CM3c - Petty Officer 3rd Class) in Company B of the 130th Naval Construction Battalion.
  His home address is listed as Box 11 in Cotter, Arkansas. 
The Carpenter Shop on Okinawa furnished General Doolittle's command post and living quarters.

His Love for them was Very strong and the kids knew it

even thru all the trials he went threw he still fought hard for his kids

and they knew he did.

even the fact he was sick and the kids did not know

he stayed

Very loving to his kids

and the kids knew it  and they was Very young when he passed away

and still to this day  they still know he

Loved us with All his heart!

Martha L Lafferty

from Baxter county, Arkansas

They meet 1st when he and her was young teens but,

she thought he was to old for him because she was 14 him 19 so,

after he got out of the service in W.W. 2 

they meet again   they  got married when he was 26 and she was 19 

The Love of his life  !

They stayed married tell  he died in 1971 from cancer,

  She still being the Love of his life !
