What can I say besides this is such a shock. RoY was the most kind hearted person and had no enemies. He could make anyone laugh. He will definitely be missed. Love you Uncle Roy!

Roy was Raymond's best friend. They liked to prime tobacco side by side. He was a great person to work in tobacco. He would stay as long as he needed to get the work done. He was in great demand in the Berea community. He was good natured and comical. He has been missed by the Berea community. God be with you all !

To the Lake we Went

May 2, 2018

I will never forget the day Roy and I stole my sister’s (Peewinkle) truck while she was at work. Roy asked me how was I gonna crank it with no key. I told him don’t doubt me and I took a screwdriver and cranked it. He laughed and we stopped to get gas. He said he only had $5 but he came out of the store with a bottle of wine too. Lol We then headed to Stovall to Grassy Creek to the lake. We ran into some friends who went back and told Peewinkle on us. She was mad but we didn’t care. Roy would still talk about this years later every time I spoke with him. I can still see him to this day smiling and laughing.
