Grandma Great always making me a PLATE full of bacon in the mornings on a TV tray. After I would find all the ducks at her house and line them up. :)
 

Upon my doctoral degree graduation, Dad took all the wider family out for a fine dinner.  My mother Rubie began the festivities by lifting her water glass and exclaiming,  "Live it up, the house is on me!"

Grandma came up to visit me in Santa Barbara and I wanted her to meet the person that I had begun dating.  It was a fairly new relationship, but it was a big deal to me to introduce Grandma to her.  We picked Lisa up at her work and Grandma said to her, "Now, have I met you? I have met so many of Becky's girlfriends."  
 
Total Grandmaism...Lisa did stick around.
