Born November 24,1930 in Meridian Mississippi, to the late Alberta Irby, she worked in housekeeping ,custodian at the Ramada inn, and Sinclair College for many years. 
Ruby accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior, and thrived to be a faithful and active member of the Body of Christ to the lord as a member of Mt. Enon Missionary Baptist church, Mother Ruby sang in the choir, and was also a member of the Eastern Stars for many years.
Ruby House was all about family , she was a loving,caring and devoted wife, a wonderful mother ,grandmother,Great grandmother, as well as an active GREAT GREAT GREAT GRANDMOTHER. Who consistently showed her love and affection to her family .
Mother Ruby was one sweet special lady and the loss of her loving ways will be felt so deeply by so many. She lived a full loving life , Mother Ruby enjoyed cooking ,dancing,and just loved listening to the Blues as well as growing her flowers, and laughing and having fun.
Ruby Lee House answered  the Lords call to come home  October 22, 2023  she was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband Walter House of 50 wonderful years, mother Alberta Irby, (2) sons Percy Haynes, and Willie Haynes, (2) sisters Grace Haynes, Candas Irby . (1) special aunt Riley ,(4) Brothers Sam Irby, Pastor Irby, Willie Irby,Snoop Irby. (1) Grandson Thomas Hunter, (1) great granddaughter Donnishia Peterson .


Ruby leaves to Cherish fond memories and celebrate her life (2) daughters Mary Haynes, Linda Scott (10) grand children Tracy(Eugene)Daniels, Wyticha Haynes, Jody Haynes, Walter Scott,Andre (Crystal) Scott,Kiawana(Aprentice)Roberts, Kecia Edlee) Lucus, Wathasha (Ralph) Mickens, Bernando Morrow Haynes,  LaShay Morrow Haynes, Tameishia Peterson, Trayonna Scott. As well as (20)great grandchildren  and (15) Great great Great grandchildren , A special niece Dorothy Wynn and a host of nieces ,nephews, and so many other Relatives and beautiful friends.
