Ruby Lester Arnold, 95, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019 at her home.

A native of Franklinton County, she was the daughter of the late William Andrew Lester and Mary Elizabeth Strickland.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Butner and retired as an Administrative Clerk at John Umstead in Butner with over thirty years of service.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens on Cheek Rd. in Durham, NC by Rev. James Shelley.

Surviving are a special niece, Lorraine Smith Watkins of Norlina, NC and many other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will follow the graveside service.
