This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Ruby Barrett 88 years old , born on March 10, 1930 and passed away on October 25, 2018. We will remember her forever.

Ruby Nell Barrett (nee Gross) passed peacefully at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati OH, on October 25, 2018 from acute kidney failure. She was 88 years old.

Ruby was born in Breathitt County Kentucky on March 10, 1930 to Kelly and Clara (nee Hounshell) Gross. She grew up in Booneville Kentucky then married Stanley Barrett and located to South Lebanon Ohio where she live for 20 years before locating to Cincinnati. Ruby was active in her community serving as the presiding judge during elections, and various community events and as the local Avon lady. She was an entrepreneur and enjoyed running her own businesses. She enjoyed hosting holiday gathering with family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

She was proceeded in death by her parents and her brother James Floyd Gross. And is survived by her adored son Leon Barrett and wife Joyce Barrett, granddaughters Angelica Ehrhard and April Reece. Beloved great grandchildren Christopher Ehrhard, Quinten Ehrhard, Adrieanna Garcia and dear friend and sister-n-law Margie Barrett as well as many cousins in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
