Ruby Riggan Norris ,94 a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Brantwood Nursing Center in Oxford.

A native of Person County, the daughter of the late John and Olivia Riggan. She was of the Baptist faith, owner-operator of Butner Drive -In for many years and was a caregiver for the elderly in Durham County.

Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 11:30 AM at Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor by Rev. Jimmy Hall.

Surviving are two daughters, Linda Lunsford Hernandez (Manuel) of Creedmoor, Joan Lunsford Reece (Garland), four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30 PM Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor and at other times at the home of Linda and Manuel Hernandez.
