Rudolph Tyler passed away suddenly on August 24 the at the home of his stepdaughter and son in law.
Born to Fleet and Johnnie Mae Tyler on Nov.17, 1934 in Glennville, Ga. Mr. Tyler was a supervisor at Exxon Bayway Refinery in Linden, NJ until his retirement. He then drove a school bus for Central Regional School district. He coached Pop Warner football in Belmar, NJ. He was also very involved with Berkeley Twp. Recreation as a basketball and softball coach.
Rudolph, a quiet and gentle man, found peace in his faith and his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Rudolph was predeceased by his wife of 25 yrs., Carolyn Edith, in January, 2006. He is survived by his stepdaughter Laurie Vreeland and husband, Francis. Grandaughter Tara Menschner and wife Rayna Brueckmann. Granddaughter Janai Wilson. Grandson Robert Menschner Jr. and wife Claudia. Great grandsons Tyler and Caleb Wilson, Connor, Brady, and Aidan Menschner. Daughters Charilyndra McIntosh, her children Christina, Anthony, and Abraham. Cheryl and her husband Charles Salley. Sons Kelvin and wife Cynthia, their children Alyce, Ashley, Rita, Kelvin Jr. and Alexis. Son Karl and wife Tanya and their children Milan, Bryan, Paris, Jayda (predeceased R.I.P ). Son Eric and his children, Erica, Jasmine, Felisha, Eric Jr. and Na-jahee. Son Craig and his children Adam and Ryan. Rudolph also leaves behind 21 more great- grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m. on Sept. 10. 2016 at Second Baptist Church of Toms River 2 First St. So. Toms River, NJ.
