It gladdens me to join other good people around the world to write a tribute to a great woman of God who without doubt is resting peacefully with our Lord Jesus in His glory.
Big Aunty, (as you were fondly called by all the children and parents of Aunty Maiyedun school which my five children passed through) we greatly grieved over your departure as humans, but as believers we are proud of you for the kind of life you lived which leaves no doubt in our minds as to where you are now.

My prayers go to our lovely father - Overseer M. O. Aguda and the entire family members you left behind. We pray the Lord to keep them as they continue in life journey here on earth. We pray their own time will be like yours.
They will all live to fulfill their days here on earth and have a good record to show our Lord Jesus.

Hmmmmm!!!! It still saddens my heart that my beloved mummy Aguda has gone to be with the Lord.. Mummy I can never forget your great impact in my life while I was growing up, spending my holidays at the Ebenezer house was always what I kept looking out for, you nurtured me like your own from my primary till secondary days, even till when I went to the higher institution you still kept in touch. You and Dad treated me like the last baby of the house that my own siblings will always get jealous of me when I return home and always wish they could come with me to the house(Ebenezer)... Your lifestyle was wonderful mum, I never saw you get angry at all, you make corrections with love, you were a great mother indeed. Keep resting with the Lord mum cause I can't explain all about you here. The legacy you left behind will never be forgotten even while you were on the sick bed and I told Dad about my wedding in march you kept telling me Racheal don't worry we are praying for you, it's a success already, you and dad even supported the wedding despite the state you were in......oh God!!!!!! Your type is really rare mum..... I will surely tell my children about you and Dad's impact in my life...... Everyone is missing you mum but we are assured that we shall all meet again at the Lord's feet..... E sun re oooo...mama rere.....mama oninu ire.....

Having never met Mama, I’d like to rightly assess her via the conduct and candor of Tunde.
A young professional with a very high sense of dedication to detail while still willing to accept advice and novel ideas.
Humble to a fault and able to work under immense pressure to deliver on time.
These qualities surely are inherent in him and can be a fallout of parental nurturing.
Mama certainly played this role extremely well and she has left us to continue playing that role from a higher and more spiritual realm.
May her soul Rest In Perfect Peace

ADIEU DCNESS RUTH ABIODUN AGUDA

Your death is a further attestation that life is indeed a stage where everyone must play a part. Your love and passion for the work of God keep making me wondering why your death must come now, but I realized that our time here is a contract with our creator; unfortunately, once we cross over here we forget the details of the time, but our creator never forgets, and so when it's time we are recalled.
You were the main anchor person of choruses and praise worship on the Saturday prayer Conference since we started in 2011.
I remember how you often lead the church during the special number time with different songs, your anthem as you walk to the altar is "Our generation shall praise your name 4x..." Many of those hymns linger in my memory till date almost ten years after.
Our consolation is the words of God that you are resting in the bosom of your creator.
You have fought a good fight, you have finished your course, you have kept the faith.

Paul Apostle adminonished us thus:
" But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him."
I pray that the Lord God consoles the entire family and the church of God.

It was a great privilege to have come your part “Mama Aguda” as I fondly called you. Your solemn ways of articulating your words and calm expression is a plus to a type A personality individual. The grace to have the opportunity to work hands-in-hands with in the District has thought me wisdom, perseverance, and Godly ways of uniting people. I wish to have you longer because I will surely missed your pampering, but God knows best. Oh well, “Omowunmi” it is time to grow up because Mama Aguda is no more physical around. I promise to continue to make use of every words of advise you shared with me. I will surely miss you. Mummy Aguda was the real definition of Cool, Calm and Collected (CCC)... I've known her for more than 30 years. We (our families) came to TACN Okokomaiko about the same time. Mummy was an embodiment of humility, she treated us (youths) like matured people. Mummy was very quiet but when she is among her own people, she can gist wella! Thanks mummy for all those pep talks, it sure did us good! Thanks for believing so much in us; I remember when she wanted to start AUNTY MAIYEDUN SCHOOL, she told my twin (best friend) and I about it... We hosted (As MCs) the first end of session party of that school. I have never seen mummy raised her voice even though there were moments that warranted that... Mummy was a passionate lover of God, her family and friends. She really connected well with my mum (Deaconess Odubunmi); they were good examples of opposite attracts; one was boisterous and very outspoken while the other was very calm, cool and collected. Greet my mum, your friend for me... Rest on Mummy Aguda, I can say in my lifetime that I've seen an angel before; that angel was you...

Mummy, I met you physically in 2019, when you came to Nigeria for Daniel's wedding and I greeted you and introduced myself as Bode's wife, you hugged me as if you known for a while. We exchanged numbers and you were the first to put a call through to me. We discussed about the challenges of school in the Nigerian terrain. You told me how you started AMP and the challenges. Our conversation left a beautiful and everlasting impression on me. Your humility, despite your age and your wealth of experience, you still listened to me. Hearing of your demise was so heartbreaking, but I know heaven has gained a saint. Till we meet at Jesus feet, rest on MA.

“PRECIOUS IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD IS THE DEATH OF HIS SAINTS”

Mama, we thank God for knowing you, and a life well spent in the Lord.

Mama Aguda, you are a gift and blessing to TAC GV Detroit Assembly and to everyone in TACUSA North America. You are special in all your ways.

I am still in shock and words fail me as I try to comprehend the news of the passing away of your gentle soul.

Mama ! Does it mean that we will never see you doing as you used to do in the church again ? How am I going to handle the women’s Movement in the Church, and in the district ? You told me you were sick you never said that, that was going to be the end.

Mama the vacuum you created is too wide to fill in our hearts and the church of God. You led the women’s movement to stand strong in place of the whole church, by providing for the house-hold of God on holidays and always you never forget. Your humility and honesty were unimaginable, As you fondly say ‘Yes Sir’ Yes Sir’ for all instructions without any argument.

Mama you are too great! You developed our Sunday School Department and you Managed it until you were called to glory. Your questions and contributions during the Bible Studies and Sunday School will be missed. Haaaa Mama, what about your hymnal selections and coordinations. Who will handle that?. You are very strong in faith and consistent in all your ways.

But who am I, to challenge the Almighty God! Isaiah 57 v 1 says
“Good people pass away; the godly often die before their time. But no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to understand that God is protecting them from the evil to come.”

We thank God for the opportunity of knowing and sharing treasured memories of you.

May God console everyone of us, the Church, Husband, children and friends you left behind.

May your beautiful soul rest in the Lord’s bosom.

We shall all meet on that golden morning when we shall part no more. We love you mama.

Goodnight ! Goodnight !! Goodnight!!!

My dear sister, the news of your passing on hit us like thunderbolt and pierced our souls like sword. Like mortals, we wept, we cried, we mourn but to what avail?

In our travails we were consoled by the facts of your glorious life. You were a wife extraordinary, a mother in a million, a jewel of inestimable value, a pious and virtuous woman and above all, a lover and server of God. Your life was very eventful, reflectful, colorful, impactful and above all, very successful. You came, you saw and you conquered. And God took you home for a deserved rest.

"Blessed is the dead in Christ for they rest in their labor. Sweet is the remembrance of the righteous". Forever you live in our hearts. Rest on my sister till resurrection day. Adiue! Adieu!! Adieu!!!. Good night.
