Ruth Ann Jones Oakley, 73, widow of Bobby Lee Oakley and longtime resident of Wake County passed away Friday, February 20, 2015 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh after a period of declining health.

A native of Granville County the daughter of the late Clarence and Nellie Forsythe Jones. She was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Weavexx Inc. in Wake Forest.

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, February 23, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor by Rev. Rodney Harp. Burial will be in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens in Wake Forest.

Surviving are three daughters; Sandy O. White of Wilson, Cynthia A. Averette of Franklinton, Donna O. Green of Angier, a son, Bobby C. Oakley of Creedmoor, a sister, Frances J. Ferrell of Durham, a brother, Troy L. Jones of Northside, eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Willie Mae Jones, brothers; Walter Lee Jones, C.J. Jones and Leamon Jones.

Visitation will be held Sunday evening February 22, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor.
