Mrs. Moody joined Metropolitan Baptist Church under the late Rev. Benjamin F. Johnson. She was a dedicated worker, a Sunday school teacher, a member of the Senior Choir and Ladies Aid Auxiliary. When her husband retired in May 1985, they returned to Hogansville, Georgia and joined Springfield Baptist Church. There, she served on the Mother Board and as a Sunday school teacher.
