Ruth, 91, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2023.  Ruth was a homemaker and did secretarial work for Modern Juniors in North Bergen before retiring, and she also did volunteer work at Palisades North Hudson Hospital.

A very independent woman, with a big smile and even bigger heart.  Loved to travel, visiting many countries and states.  Ruth was a member of the knitting club in her community of Whiting, also a proud member of the Swiss club.  She loved the slots at Atlantic City and liked puzzles; jig saw, crossword and jumble.

Ruth is predeceased by her parents, Otto and Bertha Schiedecker, her husband John "Jack" Haase Jr., and a son, Gary T. Haase.  She is survived by her son, John Haase III and his wife, Susan, son Donald and his wife Maria, daughter-in-law, Mary Haase, 4 grandchildren, Meleah Cirone, Gary Haase, Danny Haase, & Jill Haase, and 3 great grandchildren, Zack , Luke & Bryn.
