We wanted to express our sorrow for your loss. We never had the pleasure of meeting Ryan, but knowing Scott as one of the most genuine and caring people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, I know that the world lost a very special young man in Ryan. We will be saying a prayer for Ryan and the rest of the family to get through this difficult time.

I have never met a more fun, kind hearted, friendly, and talented individual than Ryan. From rooming with him in Ireland to making memories at Northeastern, Ryan showed unending love and kindness to all that he encountered and I am honored to have had the chance to know and travel the world with him. For as young as he was, Ryan did more living in 18 years than most people would in a lifetime and I have always admired his open mindedness and thirst for adventure. Fun followed him everywhere he went and I will never forget our spontaneous trips in Ireland to places like Wicklow where we played soccer, swam in the ocean, and hiked to the top of the small town to hangout and enjoy the view. I will never forget Ryan and all the memories we made together and want you to know that my prayers are with all of you in this difficult time. Stay strong and know that our love for Ryan and your family will never die. - Lucas Walsh
I was an International Student Advisor in Ireland for Ryan. I was heartbroken to hear about his passing and I hope that your family is finding some peace in a truly difficult time.
Ryan was a constant source of strength in Ireland to his fellow classmates and friends. He was always laid back and willing to try new things, even in a foreign country among strangers.
Ryan, you will be missed. To Ryan's family, I send my best wishes and hopes for strength.

The sorrow you feel is unimaginable to me, and my heart goes out to you all at this painful time. Your loss is sincerely felt by so many with love and compassion for your family. My daughter Annie is Sam's friend and she remembers Ryan fondly on the Cape enjoying life and family. My prayers for you and your family at this difficult time. God Bless.
I never had the pleasure of meeting your son, Ryan. I learned of his passing through St. John's prep where our sons currently attend school. My heart is broken over the loss of your beautiful young son. If I could offer words to ease your unimaginable loss it would be this, thank you. Thank you for giving the gift of life to others who needed your help. We lost my sister while waiting for lungs that , sadly, never came. Though all your grief and sorrow you still found the strength to give the the greatest gift of all . Sending all of my prayers to your family now and always
"The only people who think there's a time limit for grief have never lost a piece of their heart. Take all the time you need." I shared a quote because my own words cannot express how deeply saddened I am to hear of the passing of your talented son Ryan. I am holding your family in my prayers during this difficult time.
Love,
Sue Slater Pulaski

The tide recedes but leaves behind
bright seashells on the sand.
The sun goes down, but gentle
warmth still lingers on the land.
The music stops, and yet it echoes
on in sweet refrains……
For every joy that passes,
something beautiful remains.
Our hearts are with all of you

I am so sorry for your sudden loss of Ryan. I had the privilege of getting to know Ryan very well over the last 5 years, through the Pelletiers (my neighbors). Ryan was one of the kindest, funniest, and most genuine kids I've ever met. Every time Marcus texted me "Come over, Shaw is here" I would immediately get excited, as I knew I was guaranteed a good time, with many laughs along the way, as long as Ryan was around. I am heart broken over the loss of such a great person. It is obvious to me that he made a mark on this world in the short time he was with us. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family at this time of loss. Ryan was an amazing human being and I feel blessed to have known him. -Ryan Flanagan

Deepest condolences. My memories of Ryan are limited to pictures in Scott's office and stories of trips to visit colleges, but even through them it was apparent how special he is to you and vice versa. Wishing you strength, peace, and good memories as you and all who love him celebrate his life.
Warmly,
Lauren and Jeff Bullian
I so sorry for your loss. I didn’t know Ryan but in the time we worked together I knew from your stories how proud you were of him. It is just hard to believe. I hope and pray for peace to you and your family.

My deepest and most sincere condolences are all with you. As a student and member of the Northeastern community I can genuinely say the heart breaking passing of Ryan has been noticeable. From the one semester I met Ryan, I only knew him briefly but he immediately amazed me and our friends with his selflessness, charisma, intelligent and constant radiance of positivity. His name is painted in gold on a grand rock in the Northeastern Quad thanks to the brothers of Pi Kappa Alpha and when I walked out from my residence building this morning, seeing his name painted so proudly, gave the Northeastern community and campus some light again. We know he is with us, as he is with you. Northeastern's thoughts and prayers are all with his family and friends. His memory is forever in our hearts and with every Northeastern Husky. We miss you Ryan and we love you forever.
