Residence:  Nokesville, Virginia

Background:   As long as I can remember, I have had an interest in art. For seven years I studied oil painting with John R. Young, a copyist for the National Gallery in Washington, D.C. and who is also a member of the Royal Academy in London, England.  For several years I lived, painted and taught in Europe.

Medium:  Oil

Plans:   I hope to continue to create realistic paintinngs, improve my skills and promote a positive response with my work.

In My Words:   Painting has been such a wonderful and inspiring experience.  I wll always strive to capture and portray beauty and the study of light in my paintings.
