Her Life

The Strong Willed, Independent Single Mother!

November 23, 2019
Sally was a beautiful woman! She graduated high school, finished college became a nurse, was successful and unafraid to live life. I saw her battle through many struggles throughout my childhood overcoming them all. She was married at 30 and at 35 gave birth to me, her 1 and only Child. She had her hands full with me as I was defiant and strong willed and an only child. Demanding of her time when she wasn't working. She taught me to be independent and never to depend on any man. She taught me to be a fabulous mother as I became one at 16. She was involved in her grand children's lives and they all adored their 'Yaya'! She played a huge part in my and my children's lives and she will be missed everyday she is away. I miss you mama I miss you so much! I feel so alone without you and my babies. I dont know what to do sometimes. I know your in peace and never wanted to leave us. But I miss you and I will forever until maybe again our souls find each other! Rest In Paradise mama. Cocamoe has been waiting for you. Indulge Yourself!  You finally are the angel above that we all knew you were on Earth. Lovr your baby girl, Chelsea!

Sally and I met in Redmond at Lahaina Louie's, a local hangout. The place was packed, and this beautiful, long legged blonde lady, asked if she could sit with me. We were both single gals, although she was way more beautiful than me! But we hit it off, and became friends. What struck me most, was how unassuming she was, how unaware she was of her outer beauty. Men tried falling all over her, and she barely noticed. What I knew then, was her genuine, kind, sweet, loving spirit, and it shone even brighter than her physical beauty. Our friendship endured through many years, and we bonded even more when her beautiful daughter, Chelsea was still very young, then when I had my daughter a few years later. We stayed in touch until life's circumstances finally robbed us of our ability to keep up. The last time I saw her was at her apartment on Stark St., Gresham, on our way to Colorado. I kept searching for her for years, until I found her Ex, Chelsea's dad, and he let me know she had passed a couple years before I contacted him. It about killed me to know my sweet, dear friend had lost her battle. I loved her so unconditionally! At the time, I reached out to her family, and let them know how blessed I have been to have her as my friend all these years. May God Bless and keep her daughter and grandchildren forever. Sally was an extraordinary, compassionate, loving person. I am blessed to have called her my friend. May she forever be at peace in the loving arms of God!!!!  Love you forever my sister friend. Love ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
