Salvatore “Sam” C. Patane, 78, of S. Harrison Twp. passed away on January 14, 2017.
Salvatore was raised and lived most of his life in Mullica Hill, NJ. He was a
farmer by trade who loved his work. He had such a passion for plants, trees, flowers and all types of horticulture and agriculture.

His family and friends were everything to him. He enjoyed many activities such as fishing , hunting , NASCAR, and making wine and eating great food !

He was the owner operator of Everfresh produce in Swedesboro NJ. He was a contributing member of the community and an advocate for all farmers (both locally and nationally). He was proud of his Italian - American heritage and was always blessed to have lived and worked in the place they call the "Garden State ". He will truly be missed and loved by so many people. 

Beloved father of Alfina Schulde of Ferrell, Annette Scholl (Lou) of Bridgeton, Sally Corson (Greg) of Laurel Springs, Kathleen Patane of Blackwood, Marianne Patane of Glassboro, Lisa Martorano of Laurel Springs and Salvatore Patane (Dina Rae) of Cherry Hill. Loving companion of Kathleen Patane, and devoted grandfather of 14, great grandfather of 4. Dear brother of Rose Fox of Clearwater, FL and Tina Feo (David) of New Port Richie, FL. Salvatore was predeceased by his parents Salvatore and Marianne (Leonardi) Patane, and granddaughter Carly Marie Scholl.

Viewing Fri. Jan. 20, 2017 from 6-9pm and Sat. Jan. 21, 2017 from 10-11am at the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit Parish Center, 17 Earlington Ave., Mullica Hill, NJ 08062, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Sat. 11:30am. Burial in Holy Name of Jesus Cemetery.

My deepest condolences to the Patane family. I was always happy to see Sam at family get togethers -- I had someone to talk "cars" with. And, no Sam, "I still didn't get the Corvette running yet." You will always be in my thoughts.
