Sam was an incredibly sweet man. I will not soon forget the kindness he showed me as a young, probably very annoying high schooler dating the daughter he cared for deeply - enough so to make me feel like a part of a big but tightly-knit family. My thoughts are with Brittney and the family he loved so much.

Forever in my heart

My memories of Sam started at the Harrison House. I was working there and we soon became friends. Sam a true gentleman from the start he offered to pick me up and drive me to work during a snowstorm. He had heard me telling a friend how afraid I was driving in the snow ❄️ Sam picked me up in his Red Truck Assuring me that it was safe to be in during the snowstorm. When my Shift was over he text me and asked me if I needed a ride home. That’ when I knew he was truly a good person with a big heart ❤️ Shortly after we became a couple.  Our first date he brought my Mother flowers My family and friends loved him.  Sam had a special bond with my grandaughter Ella he would pick her up and call her Ella Bella! She loved hanging out with us. He enjoyed coming to Manny and Alex’s Baseball and basketball games. We enjoyed many family dinners together. Sam  was there for me during the saddest time in my life . We just chatted about having a long overdue vacation to Florida. The love and memories we made will always live on in my heart. I thank God for you and know I’ll see you again, I love you

We met Sam when Brittney was in High School. He was very good to our son Jimmy. He had just finished his home on Gangemi Lane and was so proud of it and Brittney’s room. My favorite memory of Sam was from one day on my way to work. I had stopped at the Wawa on 322 (before the new one was built) to buy lunch. When I went to the counter to pay, a voice came from behind, “put that on my bill, she doesn’t pay”. It was wonderful to see him and such a nice thing for him to do. He was a very special guy.

We met Sam a few years ago, he and my friend Cathy were a couple. We shared many dinners, attended fun events, and shared many happy memories. Sam fit right in with our family from car races to football games to Sunday dinners. We truly loved him and will never forget our time spent with him. His kind heart and caring spirit will always be remembered. Sending the Gangemi family our deepest condolences.
