Today 18th October 2019 wasn't a good day for me at all.As i was lying on my bed here in Lagos Nigeria,reminiscing over my college days in America most especially my days at Troy State University. The thought of my very good friend and roommate SAM as we often called him came to my mind and I decided to Googled his name to find out his whereabout. Since i have not heard from him after I graduated from Troy state in 1982 despite all the attempts i have made to locate him .The result of the Google findings was very shocking which showed that SAM had died since 1st June 2012 in a ghastly motor accident at Alpharetta,Georgia.I was devastated as i didn't know what to do other than to keep praying for the reposed of his departed soul.
SAM was a great guy,a true friend by any standard.He was a very loving person.He carried himself with diginity.His main hobby was collection of cars.I remember when he bought his first car in US a Toyota Celica hatch back(Brown) SAM took good care of this car like his baby.
We did party together in those days at Troy State,Alabama and many house parties we gave together in our lovely South Brundige Apartment in the year 1981/82. It sure felt like yesterday. Our apartment was the toast of guys and gals in those days.SAM was a fun person to be around.I did miss him a lot and I will forever missed him.May God almighty forgive him of all his sins and grant him Alijanat Fridau.
SAM sleep well in the bosom of the lord.

Uncle chijioke,I know my message is coming late but i have been avoiding this site since i heard of your death in 2012,in as much as i was deeply saddened and shocked ,I just had a hard time accepting that you are really Gone but today i wanted to be strong enough to leave you a message yet I'm still drowning in my own tears.
  I didn't get to know much about you but the few times you visited Nigeria,i was always happy to see you,i was proud to have an uncle like you.
  You are really missed and i'm sure you are very happy in heaven right now.Goodbye and enjoy your peaceful rest!!<3

Ebere, I just saw this. I have tried so hard to reach you this many years but never knew what pain life had dealt. Once again I googled your name and then I saw this. I am in shock but I know that pales compared to what you have been going through. I was thinking about all the funny times working at MotorVentures..... It saddens me that your no longer with us. You was an amazing father, shafts talking about your children. Always so proud of them. I remember when your son wrote a rap for school. I enjoyed my time working for your company. I learned a lot. Truley a great guy.

Today is Easter. The greatest gift Jesus gave us was his life. He paid the price for our sins, died on the cross, rose from the dead. Therfore providing a way for each of us to return and live with God someday. Chi you are in a better place. I am deeply sadden to learn of Sam's death. I worked with Sam in Michigan in the mid 1990's. He was a great co-worker and good friend. I have been trying to locate Sam for years and this is not what I wanted to find. Farewell good friend. We will meet again. Bruce Bridges

Well I do not know the person of Sam, but I know death; I also know from the pics am seeing here that he was a good dad, brother, uncle, probably grand dad and certainly a wonderful husband.

To the family I say take heart for SAM is in a better place and he is looking down at all of you with a smile.

Death thought that it got you but praise God that before it struck you had taken care of business and the Lord took you straight to His bossom. So we can boldly say "O Death where is thy sting? Sam, this news is unbelievable. We have to bear it and believe God knows the best. You will always be remembered for your diligence and strength of character. It has been 7 years since you went to the Lord. It still feels like yesterday. We know you are  still in a better place pain free, relaxed, no confusion, no anxiety, no stress. It is indeed a good place with joy, happiness, kindness, compassion, and above all in the heavenly realm. Your children, Stacy, Sam Jr., Stephanie, Stanley-David, and your beloved wife miss you immensely. Thank you very much for paving the way for the growth and the love of family you instilled in each and every  one of us. Your family is doing very well.  We are blessed and highly favored by God. The bond is still very strong. We are very blessed because Jesus immediately filled the vaccum. We chose as a family to cast our cares on the Lord and he has continued to sustain us.......Psalm 55:22.

     Chi, we remember you especially today March 11, 2014 because you turned 55 years old. You are physically not present but your spirit is with us wherever we go. We will continue to love and cherish the strong foundation you laid in your family. We miss you. The bond in our family is tighter than ever. We are all doing well, Stacy, Sam Jr., Stephanie, Stanley and your beloved wife Nne.

     God is with us. God has completely filled the vacuum. God’s blessing, power, peace, harmony and comfort reign in the house. God will never ever leave or forsake us according to the scriptures.  I am living up to my promise to take good care of the children.

Happy Birthday Chi.
May the Almighty Father protect your soul and guard your soul as you rest in PERFECT PEACE.
Chi, it is not the same without you. I am doing all in my power by the grace of God to keep the promises I presented to you on 6/30/12. It has been 9 months since you went to heaven. We love you very much but God loves you more. You are in a good place. We are working hard on earth to be able to reunite with you in Heaven.
Chi I have good news for you. God Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth, King of Glory, Lord of Lords, Alpha and Omega, Lord of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, have filled the vacuum. God is with us. God has brought permanent peace and joy to each and every one of us, Stacy,Sam Jr, Stephanie and Stanley-David.
We do not lack anything, we are content and immersed in the blood of Jesus. I am raising the kids exactly the way you want it.
We are still at North Point Community Church. The Kids and I go to Church like you want it. We call upon our Heavenly Father who is showering us with his mercies compassion, kindness,Grace ,favor,good health etc.
The kids surprised me on my birthday, just as you've always done. We had a good Christmas just as you've always wanted it. The kids also surprised me on Valentine's day, just as you've always done it.
Chi, God has taken over. God is in control. We do not have any reason to doubt the power of God. We believe in God. We have surrendered our lives to God.
CHI MAY YOUR SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE 
AMEN.
