Wow!

Always sad to learn about the demise of someone you know, no matter how old they are,  you are just never ready to let go.

I remember Uncle Sammy or Mr Olagbaju as we used to call him, from my childhood days in Folashade close, Surulere, Lagos. I remember his deep voice, he seemed a pretty happy and jovial man.

I did visit his home a few times and all I remember now is that it was exquisite, really beautiful furniture and decor. He moved to Victoria Island I think years later and we moved to Apapa and that was the last I saw him except on TV catching glimpses of him from time to time.

Alas! my hubby returns home from church one sunday and recounts meeting an elderly gentleman Mr sammy Olagbaju and I am like OMG!!!, I know him, we were neighbours in suru lere, I haven't seen him in well over 40years..... ahhh I would love to see him, for old times sake, re introduce myself.......but thanks to procrastination I never got around to it.

Adieu Sir! Sleep on!! Rest in perfect peace!!!

My sincere condolences to all his family.
