Sammy was the best dog anyone could ask for. She has been gone for years. On some days it feels just like yesterday. She was and will always be my best friend. She was there for me no questions asked when I was ill she would not leave my side. I miss

Not a day goes by that I don't Think of you. I hope you are youthful running around with all our family pets. Tomorrow is Thanks giving. I wish you were still here. I remember on Thanks giving we would always get your special treats from the store. Keep uncle Arthur, Papa, and Grandma company. I miss all of you so much.I always loved how you would sing on command so we could hear your pretty voice. Also watch after Tootie. she was a great dog also and Moe. Sammy you were the best. Everytime I think about how much I miss you I get sad. Till we meet again.

Love you Mom

When I was sick

I was taking a bath. I had Endometroisis which is a condition that causes alot of pain. I was in so much pain I couldn't pull myself out. I yelled SAMMY HELP ME. She came in and stood length wise against the tub. I put most of my weight on the tub and my 10% on her. If it wasn't for her I would have been there for hours waiting for my husband. I love her. I still miss her to this day

When we brought her home

She was a friends dog. She did not get along with the other dog. Roland and a friend kept asking us if we wanted her. I  said no I don't want a dog.  Then I said yes one day. They brought her over. she almost got hit by a car when she got out of the car. Thankfully she didn't. She came in the backyard we were playing with her and needless to say she never left.
