De Sam made me proud and demonstrated how much respect he had for me and my parents just from something he did a long time ago( not to tell my age, but this was in the seventies). Our village photographer called One in Town decided to enlarge my picture and displayed it in his store at our market square Nkwo Eziudo. I did not know about this. I came home one day and saw my enlarged picture. When I asked, I was told that De Sam saw the picture and said that Ada de de ya will not be displayed in the market square. He paid the photographer and brought my picture home. That is a memory very dear to my heart. That is a memory I have cherished. That is how De Sam treated me, with respect and love. That is who he was. Not a perfect man because non of us is, but a very good man.
You will be missed De.
