Baba Abbey as you were fundly called, you may be gone from my sight but you are never gone from my heart. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. I'll forever miss you, we spoke and joked on phone just 3 weeks before you departed. You left an agonizing impression on all of us. Well, you've done you part in this world just as everyone of us has a time lag. Rest in perfect peace Bro'. Bye bye sir !

It’s been 2 weeks we lost you brother,
it’s been 2 weeks we lost our other.
I wish you had given us the chance to take one last glance at your face filled with love
before you fly away like a dove.
Rest in peace brother
I hope you will no longer suffer
We will be waiting for you in our dreams to re-live all those beautiful memories
No matter what we say, we can never bring you back in life. I just want to pray to God to keep you in the best place in heaven. May your spirit soar in freedom from the fears that gripped so tight.
Rest in peace. Sayo. We will miss you

Sorrow fills our hearts this sad moment, a sorrow that is deep and personal. Big Abbey has silently closed the door of life and departed from us. Our lives will be empty in the areas that he had brightened for us. Your criticism of our way of doing things at NIOB/CORBON and Civil service at distance will always be remembered. Sleep on, we will miss you SAYO..

This is such a rude shock. You left without saying goodbye and on the first anniversary of my husband’s death. Why Sayo ! Very sad. So sad. You were a son to my late husband and I. A brother to all our children. You were such an amiable personality. Your dimpled sweet smile, so infectious, so reassuring . You were such a hard worker, a self made man. You succeeded against all odds. You triumphed against all childhood travails and became that son and man to be proud of.
You were loved by many. You mentored many.
You fought the good fight. And now resting in the bosom of your maker.
Sleep on beloved , sleep and take your rest. We love you but Jesus loves you best. Sun re, sun re.
The Fajemisin family will miss you. The Lord will uphold sister Funlayo , your dear mum with His right hand of righteousness and console her.
He will look after your children. He is the father of the fatherless. Adieu Isayo Re. Lagos Boy. E suku libe. As the family fondly calls you.
Adieu my brother, my son.

Bldr. Samuel Abiodun has died and taken his place, inside of heaven within its glorious space.

Baba Abbey has changed many lives, he was a dutiful, intelligent, supportive, and energetic builder.

He was part of the IOSH UK-HSE Training for construction Site Managers training (3rd Batch) organised by Midax Global in conjunction with NIOB Lagos in the year 2020 and that gave me an opportunity to be very close to him, he was always willing to learn. His participation during the training practical and assessment kept me on my toes all through. Egbon was a man that notice your potential and give you the help you need to achieve success.

“You carve your name on hearts, not tombstones. A legacy is etched into the minds of others and the stories they share about you.”

May your soul rest in peace Ameen

The entire osomaalo of Ijesaland will missed you greatly, (our President,)assuming death can be bribed, I know many people will volunteer to pay any amount, but death is an agent that doesn't wait or listen to anyone ,we all know that we are on a journey, you have dropped at your own bus stop, till we meet and part no more on the resurrection morning

Pressy as I often called you! You cannot but pick your phone. You cannot but say "Sister mi se ewa". You were so good and kind. Even after you learnt of my second daughter's wedding, you were not happy that you didn't hear about it and you insisted and still bought a Fila. You said, "Olorun ma je kin miss ohun eyee mi". You made me a proud owner of Alagbaa scheme by pushing and pushing me to apply and to use my cooperative money and loans to pay. Pressy, the Lord will bless all that you left behind. I cried. Oh! I cried. I remember the amala and eran wewe I ate at your ogba office. Suunre oooo my dear brother and Pressy.

I can't accept the reality that you're gone.. That I'll never hear your voice again and I will never again see that beautiful smile.
The memories we shared could never fade
But where do I go now? What do I do?

Having you in my life, was the best dream come true
But since you've left this world, the sky is a different blue
Words can't describe the emptiness inside
I get so lost without you here.

You can no longer be seen, by the human eye,
But your soul and love that you gave so many, will never ever die
Sometimes I wish I could tell myself that you'll be back someday
If I could make just one wish right now, I'd wish you back to stay
I guess this is the way life goes, and God's will we must accept
But I hope you didn't feel this pain or weep the way I've wept

I miss a million things, every detail of who you are.I miss your mind, body and soul.
I still say I'm one very lucky girl to have been given the gift of you
I guess this earth can't handle things so pure and true.

You taught me so much in the short time we spent together
You taught me the value of the truest of loves
That I'll carry it with me forever
I know that I shouldn't question God
Because obviously he knows more than I
But I can't help constantly asking myself
"Why did he have to die?"
Why can't all your dreams come true?
No one deserves them more than you.
I love you and will forever miss you FOLUWASAYO
