Sandy . . . Stephanie and I hope that your first year in a higher universe, as painful as it is to be away from family and friends, has brought you the peace and serenity that you truly deserved all those years on Earth. But look forward to those reunions. The best is yet to come. George, we also hope you are well and that the past -- all those years and memories with Sandy -- is helping you to find meaning in the present.

Diane -- Stef and I would like to express to you, your mom and George our sadness to hear of Sandy's passing. Her life had such meaning -- something so apparent in all of these loving tributes -- and her will to live was inspiring and said so much about her strength and her triumphs as she kept battling through the years. All of you were by her side. We hope brighter days, made so by happy memories, will return soon.

George, I'm deeply saddened hearing of your Sandy's passing. I never had the pleasure of knowing her, I'm sure she was a reflection of you and your wonderful personality. You always took time from your busy schedule greeting my parents and myself when we saw you around town. Your in my thoughts and prayers !

George,

Sandy and you have been wonderful neighbors and friends to the Meyers' Family for over twenty years. Despite Sandy's health, she always had a smile on her face. She would always make us feel welcome in your home. She was a wonderful person. She was a very kind and gentle soul. She will be missed. Just know that one day the two of you will be together again.

Sandy, I already miss you and I am so grateful to have been given the time I have had with you the last few months. Our time, for me, became so special that I couldn't wait to see you and spend it together. Now I'm not sure I'll know what to do with my time. I feel lost and sad at the same time. Once it was comforting to know that if I needed you I could pick up the phone and call. You were a wonderful little sister. Just know you will be forever in my heart, every day for the rest of my life. Knowing you has made me want to be a better person. I Love you with all my heart!

George, We are deeply saddened to hear of Sandy's passing. We will always remember her laugh, her smile and the time at Harrah's casino buffet when you hollered at me to get off Sandy's wheelchair. She will be sadly missed. Our heart and thoughts are with you always. You are like family to us. With deepest sympathy ~Ron and Perry~

Sandy and I go back to those awkward days of middle school; however there was nothing awkward about our friendship. I could not ask for a better friend. What memories I am blessed with... waitressing together...whale watching...being in each other's wedding. You will always be a special part of me and I am truly proud to have been able to call you friend. Your inspiration to all who knew you is unmeasurable and your compassionate, patient ways made all of us a little better by just knowing you. What a wonderful daughter, sister, wife and friend you were. I will miss your smile but am celebrating the victory you have won, my friend. God bless you!
